You can get various templates and interfaces for your blog, but this is mainly the only way blogs vary as they are quite limited in this sense. With your own website you can code the pages exactly the way you like, but with a blog you tend to have to use an already available layout style. Overall a blog is a simple website which allows the owner to post updates at any set interval ' could be every hour, every day, every week, etc. A blog provides a good platform for a regular website-poster or active person to give feedback on a certain project or experience.
Blogs are usually quite specific in terms of content ' someone will pick a topic, for example how to make money on the Internet. Then they will regularly post updates to the blog, giving their experiences or news about their findings, all relating to making money on the Internet.
Most blogs are hosted on free webspace, with a free URL domain name. Therefore they are completely free to set up (as long as you don't mind having a 'sponsored' domain name). This is partly the reason that there are so many blogs on the Internet at the moment; they are free and so quick to set up and use. Within a few minutes anyone can have their own blog online and up and running.
Before you can start making any kind of money from blogging you will need to create some interesting, unique content to use on the blog itself. Try and be completely original and try and focus on a specific topic, otherwise you will find that your blog is one of many in an already highly saturated market. If you can make an interesting and entertaining blog then you will find it so much easier to make money from blogging.
